Eastern Hercules Beetle, found on my deck. This thing is HUGE. This is a female, the male would have big horns on its head and be slightly larger.
I found it dead (obviously I didn’t kill it, I’m 99% sure it would beat the shit out of me).

If it were alive I can only assume the building you are in would be up in flames. Pretty cool though

Wow, that’s huge. I found one of those Cicada shells when I was grilling some burgers the other day. Scared the shit outta me for a second; those suckers are pretty big too!
